Thomasville!

It had been way to long since we had visited Kaki and Willy's house in Thomasville. We went last weekend, and as always, had a wonderful time. We hung out around town and visited family and friends. Fordham had a great time exploring Kaki and Willy's house. They have two sets of stairs and he was constantly trying to escape upstairs. I think we all got a workout from chasing after him.

Attaching pics of Fordham "smelling the flowers" and doing one of his favorite things- playing in the car. If we let him, I think he would be able to crank the car and drive off by himself. The sneaky little one locked the keys in the car on Saturday- thank the Lord for OnStar!

Hope you enjoy!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great holiday! We started our day REALLY early and went to the Seaside parade and watched Nana dance. She did a great job and Fordham loved watching her but, when he saw her ride by on the float, he couldn't understand why she kept going and didn't stop. haha! We came home after the parade and napped and then headed out to the beach. We had so much fun hanging out and playing. We were home by 6:30 and after we cleaned up, we laid a pallet on the floor in the den and watched TV. It was a great day! Happy 4th!

Happy Daddy, "B", and Willy Day! by Fordham

Happy Father's Day! I am so lucky to have such a sweet Daddy. He plays with me all the time and he is so good to my Mommy and me! He takes me to Starbucks with him, takes me on walks, and even lets me help him wash the cars. He is so much fun! I love you Daddy!

To "B" and Willy- Happy Fathers Day to you too! I love you!

I'm Such a Big Boy!

Fordham is 15 months old today! I can't begin to tell you how quickly it has gone by. We went to the doctor today and came out with a sticker, a shot (ouch!), and a perfect report! Fordham's least favorite friend is Dr. Allen's nurse- everytime he sees her he automatically starts crying. I feel so sorry for both she and Fordham when we are there.

Lunchtime was so much fun today. I gave Fordham a spoon and his yogurt and he went to town. He usually just holds the spoon and plays in it, but this time he knew just what to do. He dipped it right into the yogurt and then right into his mouth. It was really so cute! Attached are some pics!

Fordham says to tell Pa he loves him and he is glad he is back home. We love you Pa!

Another Great Weekend!

We had a great weekend over at the Palmer house. Kaki and her friend "Sassy" came in town on Friday and the fun began! Friday night we hung around the house and played, and Saturday we went to Kaki's and visited. Today Fordham went out on the beach with Kaki and had a ball! Here are some photos from the weekend. Fordham says to tell B and Nana he loves and misses them!

P.S. The second photo is from earlier tonight. Will and I were grilling out and turned around to find that Fordham had crawled onto the chair (all by himself) and started drinking Mommy's sweet tea- yummy!

Hello and Happy Birthday "B"

Hello! Hello! Hello! Everytime Fordham sees any kind of phone, he immediately says Kaki and then picks it up and says "Hello" which sounds like Hewo! It is so cute. Every morning we bring him into our room and the first thing he spots is the phone and begs to play with it. We usually call Kaki so he can say "hello" and he then proceeds to play with the answering machine. It is absolutely adorable! We have tried giving him play phones and our old cell phones but he wants the "real thing." I don't play him one bit. Here are a couple of pics of him in his chair talking on his cellphone.

A Great Way to Start off the Week!

This week has already been so much fun. Monday we played around the house and went to the new mexican resturaunt with Nana and Ben. Fordham didn't have his eye on any Mexican food because he was too busy running around in the fountain. He LOVED it! We finally decided to just take off his clothes and let him run around in his diaper. He, and Nana (she got a little wet too!) put on a show for us, as well as the other people eating at the resturant. It was so cute! Tuesday we hung around the house as it has rained a little bit here and there. Right now Fordham is sitting in his Daddy's lap eating his afternoon snack and lounging in his "Life is Good" t-shirt his Willy gave him. Everytime he cracks a smile wearing this t-shirt I just imagaine him saying- "Life is so good mommy!"

A Day at the Beach! - by Fordham Palmer

Today was a really fun day. I played on the beach with Kaki and Mommy while Daddy and Willy went to the golf tournament. I played in the water and I even tried to eat the sand- it didn't taste very good but I thought I would try it because it was everywhere! Here are some pics my mommy took while we were there! There is also a picture of me watching the sunset with Ben and Nana! Off to my crib- night night!

More about Fordham!!

Fordham loves cars, bathtime, the beach, and most interestingly, he loves to play in the kitchen! He loves to help Mommy unload the dishwasher. :) If he is not in the kitchen you might very well find him putting clothes in and out of the dryer. Needless to say, he is a really big help around the house. As posted earlier, he also loves to play on the computer which was a little bit of a problem until his grandparents gave him a keyboard and mouse. He loves to sit at his desk and pretend to type! This morning, while Daddy washed the car, he followed behind with the hose and splashed around. As you can see, Fordham has fun in everything he does which in turn, makes everything fun for us.

This is such a great age and our little man is saying new words everyday. Some of his favorite words are Bye Bye, Si, No :), thank you, hello, Kaki, Nana, Daddy, Mommy, B, Mimi, and Willy! He also manages to spit out the word popcorn when is hungry as well as bapple (apple). It is so much fun to see our precious baby turn into a little man!
I have attached a couple of pics of Fordham. One is of him playing in the dishwasher (imagine that!) and the other of him helping Ben "B" fly. He has no fear whatsoever and will sit nowhere but in B's lap when flying!

Our First Post

Hi! With so much to write about, I thought I would start with telling you a little bit about our family- The Palmers! We live in Santa Rosa Beach, FL with our 15 month year old son- Fordham. Will works as a realtor for Pelican Real Estate and I have the most wonderful pleasure of staying at home with Fordham. He was born March 14, 2006 and has been a complete joy and blessing in our lives from day one. He has taught Will and me so much about life and we couldn't be any happier! He learns something new it seems like every second and I am looking forward to sharing some of these things with you. Until next time here is a picture of Fordham sitting at his desk- just like Daddy!
